The best websites have the best ingredients and the best ingredients are always fresh.
Most of us have friends on Facebook, and we tend to visit the profiles of those friends that see the most action (I hope you know what I meant by that).
When I say most action, I mean most up-to-date. The profiles we love to visit are those that are continually updated with FRESH information.
Facebook is so popular because it has the best ingredients and keeps people coming back for more. Can you say that about your website?
What are the ingredients then, which make Facebook such a success?
It's a place where users can keep in touch with the people in their lives, instantly and on the move. It also gives you a way of connecting with a lot of people in one go.
It's where people learn about each other and the buzz in each other’s lives. We specifically log in to Facebook to find stuff out, it really is a source of information that we value.
And it's the latest information that we're really interested in on a daily basis, and Facebook keeps the lines of communication open and flowing with the freshness we love.
If you can focus your website to nail those three things, everything else will fall into place!
